Me and my cousin Mikayla

This weekend, my Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Robert & cousin Mikayla came to visit. I had a great time talking with Mikayla in our own language. I can't wait until we get older and can play together more- she is much more advanced than me. You can tell by this picture that she can sit up on her own, but I need a little help.

Hello Ms. Cow

"Is there a cow on my shoulder?" I love my cow (thanks to Jeanne Pauley in Charlottesville for giving it to me!) because she helps me sleep & she tastes good. Mommy & I went for a nice walk this morning with her friends, Sarah & Sherry plus my friends, Christopher (3), Reagan (1) & Isaiah (2 months). It was a little hot, but the trees helped protect us. Now it's naptime!

Even though my toes barely touch the bottom, I have been checking out my exersaucer. So, Mommy put me in it and I am enthralled by all the colorful, fun toys on it. I want to thank Aunt Erin, Uncle Josh and Matthew Tieman for my exersaucer or activity center, whatever you want to call it. I call it FUN!

Daddy wants to teach me to help out in the kitchen at a young age, so here I am with this thing called a spatula. We didn't make anything- he just wanted to show off my awesome grabbing skills. I also like to hold my blocks and rattle.

My new favorite sleeping position

So, I've been falling asleep after eating and mommy just leaves me on the boppy. For some reason, I don't like taking naps in my crib, so this will have to work for now. It's hard on Mommy because she has to sit right next to me and make sure I don't fall out. It sure is comfortable though!

I am 3 months old today!!

WOW- I'm 3 months old already! My mommy says it has gone by very fast & that she can't believe how grown up I have become. I wanted to show you my tongue, my belly, my feet & hands, and my "I wonder what I want for my birthday" face. Where's my cake?? Mommy also said I was a little eager to celebrate my special day- apparently she wanted to sleep at 4 a.m. and I was ready to party! Luckily, Daddy calmed me down and we all partied together at a more reasonable time of 6 p.m., right before my bedtime.
