Morning at the Farm

Our school field trip took us to Cherry Place Farm (which is just down the road from my house!) for a morning of animal fun! My friend Kaitlyn & I were ready to go!
First, we listened carefully to the rules & instructions
We started by feeding the sheep, which I didn't want them to eat out of my hand, so I put it in their bowl
The chickens enjoyed a treat of bread instead of their normal corn feed
My buddy, Luke and I really enjoyed chasing the farm cat around!
Luke and I waited patiently to go inside the chicken coop
Check out the fresh egg I found in there!
Kaitlyn & I were proud to show off our eggs!
Time to feed ourselves with yummy popcorn
It's always great to take a little time to milk the cow
And then go for a nice ride on the tractor
Next, we waited patiently again to go for a hayride
I started to lose my patience though since it was getting hot
It helped to cool down with a nice game of parachutes
I am being very serious here for storytime
To finish off the morning, we got to feed the goat some leaves
And I was extremely excited about that!
Here, here, nice goat, have some more
Back at home, it's nice to relax and be in my mom's shoes

Mother's Day pictures

For Mommy's gift, I took some pictures with her at Portrait Innovations. I think they turned out very well, especially because Georgie got to join us for some.
What a big girl (little lady) at 3 years old!
Todd, the photographer, got some great shots of my true smile!
This is my "attitude" pose, but I told the photographer that this is also how I dance.
It was fun to hug Mommy and be close to baby brother.
I also gave him some big sister kisses!

Strawberry Picking

Who's ready to pick strawberries?! I am!!
How does this one look, Mommy?
This one is nice and red!
I am a big girl with a big box of delicious strawberries!
The strawberry slush is a great way to cool off after the hard work of picking
Check out how tall I am now!
This nice strawberry needed a hug (and Hall Family Farm is a great place for kids!)
They had some fun water pumps to help move some rubber ducks
My first bite of a freshly-picked strawberry
SOOOO good, sweet & amazing!
Who's that farmer? It's me!
And I am also the little helper!

May kick-off

The month of May means flowers, frogs and everything nice (like my dress)
Plus, it seems like I have lots of birthday parties to go to! My friend, Ayla, turned 5 and I was happy to swing away at her party.
There were bunnies to pet...
ponies to ride (look at my brave friend Emma up there)...
candles to blow out...
lines to stand in for cake...
with my good friend, Bela...
and of course, cake to eat!
It was green and delicious!
