More cousin fun!

We celebrated Grand Daddy Pope and Grandma Teresa's 5th wedding anniversary in a big family gathering! Thanks to Cousin Robert who let us borrow his backyard for the fun.
There was grilled pineapple to eat.. (cousin Memphis loves fruit!)
A swing for a little relaxing time with cousin Ayda and Grand Daddy
Super cute chance to pose and SMILE big for the camera
Delicious and messy strawberry shortcake
Silly face making
Hugs for one of my favorite men (and what looks like a smile I got from my Mommy!)
The entire family shot: Uncle Adam, Aunt Christina, Uncle Andrew, Grandma Teresa, cousin Ayda, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Andre, Aunt Heidi, Grand Daddy, cousin Memphis and me
Grandma Teresa sure is strong!

Labor Day weekend Fun

Uncle Robert, Aunt Jen & cousin Mikayla had to leave early on Monday morning and we were not happy about that.
So, Mommy & Daddy took me to the Zoo to make me happier and forget that my cousin just left.
My favorite thing to do is ride the train- it was the first thing I asked to do.
Next, I wanted to ride the carousel, but...
...I only like the seats that don't move.
Then, we headed to the Botanical Gardens (beautiful!) and Mommy let me have the camera. Do you think I take pretty good pictures?
I got to plant my own flower, but I was upset that I didn't get to take it home.
The tram ride was so much fun because it was like a train.
The penguins are fun, but the rocks to climb on are more fun!
Good-bye, baby dinosaur! I had a great time!

Hiking with cousin

My cousin Mikayla came for a visit over Labor day weekend and we had a blast!
We went out to Kings Mountain National Military Park and took a short 1.5 mile nature walk. We both had to wear our Dora outfits.
It may look like we are reading the sign, but it was actually a great drum!
I think we have the same "cheese"-y smile!
It's very important to have your walking stick with you...
...or a great Daddy's shoulders for a break with some cool ears to hold onto.
Here's a friend we made along the way-
Our Daddies were making sure we didn't go for a swim
Hiking works up your appetite, even after a very short while!
I think you can see the raisins I was enjoying
We made it to the top!
The girls were tired and needed a break!
And then up and ready to go some more!

First day of preschool

Yesterday was the first day of my 2-year-old preschool class. After having a great half a year at St. John's in the 1-year-old class, I am continuing to attend this great school. My teachers this year are Mrs. Amy & Mrs. Susan, who I like very much already.

Here is Mommy taking the obligatory first day ready-to-leave-the-house-with-my-bag (and wipes box) picture
Now, I am getting in the mood to start the day
I'm so excited that I can hardly keep my eyes open!
Look who is coming with me- my Thomas cup!
As soon as I got there, I settled in for some play dough fun
My friend, Kaitlyn, and I are hard at work creating beautiful works of art
Look how tired and exhausted I was after all the fun! If you look closely, you can see the black from the playground. I can't wait for Friday to go back again!

I'm building something...

When Daddy didn't hear from me, this is what I was doing and what I told him. "I'm building something"- it's mainly a house for my animals.
I'm so proud of my finished product!
