Go Aggies & Eagles!

This was a good week for sports! My Grandpa Gette and Aunt Leanna's team, the Cowboys, won on Thanksgiving. Mommy and Daddy's team, Texas A&M Aggies, beat the Texas Longhorns- Whoop, is what Mommy says. Then, I went to my first Winthrop basketball game, however they lost. We left early so it's my fault. Looking forward to a life full of sports!

My First Thanksgiving

First, I don't think I'm supposed to go in the oven with the turkey. Daddy thought it would be funny to put me in the turkey's pan. I was so happy that Grandma Teresa came to join us for dinner- she brought some yummy dressing, sweet potatoes and amazing banana pudding. Uncle Andrew's hair looked a little crazy to me, but I liked the way he smiled and talked with his hands to me. Grand daddy Pope always gives good hugs. Thanks again, Daddy, for a nice dinner- I am thankful for my loving family.

My friend Izzy

I enjoyed seeing Isabel Kohstall again- she's getting so big at 2 months now! I wanted to hold her hand.
Isn't she cute??

Adoring grandparents

It's amazing that we are all looking at the camera at the same time!!

Fun with cousin!

Mikayla is so sweet to me and was sharing her drink with me.
She loved my counting house so much that her mommy is going to get her one too! I hope I didn't ruin the surprise, Mikayla.
We had so much fun eating dinner with Mommy, Aunt Jen, Uncle Robert, Grandma & Grandpa Gette at Coco's pub. Thanks for the good times!

Where we've been...

Mommy is sorry that she hasn't updated everyone lately. We've been very busy! First, Mommy and me drove to Baltimore to visit Aunt Jen, Uncle Robert & cousin Mikayla Pettis with a stop in Charlottesville on the way and Richmond on the way home. A BIG thanks to Lisa Little and family (Rich, Maggie & Gracie), Pettis family, and Schwartz family (Hunter, Clare, Hayden & Cameron) for opening up their houses to us. Also, I can't forget about Kellie & Isabel Kohstall (and Kellie's mom, Linda) for giving us a great lunch before our final drive home. Grandma and Grandpa Gette were in Baltimore too, so I had a great time seeing all my family.

And, then it was Thanksgiving! My very first Turkey day and I didn't even get to have any :( I did enjoy sweet potatoes with apple though! It was so nice to have Grand Daddy Pope, Grandma Teresa and Uncle Andrew here for a beautiful dinner made by my daddy. He is a great cook!

I also went to my first Winthrop basketball game yesterday and had a ball! Mommy is going to post some pictures of my adventures later. Happy belated Thanksgiving to all!

Crawling!

Well, actually I'm crawling backwards, but I'm moving on my own, so that's a big step!
Where did my feet go?

Before long, I'll be completely under the couch!

Wow- 7 months already?

Time really flies when you are having fun! To celebrate, I got to play with some friends- Emma (2 1/2), Bela (11-months), and Samantha (fur friend). Samantha let me pet her and she made me laugh just by walking around. I still didn't get to have a cake, but instead Mommy made me eat peas, ugh! Daddy insists that they taste good and are good for me, but I just don't agree with him. Overall, it was a great day hangin' with my wonderful family.

Trying to wave...

Mommy and Daddy swear that I am waving at them now! What do you think?

Daddy's Homecoming

This past Saturday, we took a road trip to Greenville, SC, and Furman University. It was Daddy's school homecoming and his 10 year reunion. I had a great time meeting his favorite college professor, Dr. Edwards, & seeing the sights of the beautiful campus. Daddy says I can go there if I want- guess they need to start saving for my college now!

Me and my cute hat

Not much to say today, except for it's getting cooler and I get to wear some awesome hats. Mommy & Daddy think it is cute, but I tell them what I think (see my tongue!). Mommy thinks I like them because I haven't tried to pull them off yet- I'll show her soon enough!

Go Red Sox!

Daddy's team did it again- they won the World Series! I wanted to support his team by wearing my red socks. I wish I could have stayed up late to watch the games with Daddy, but I was dreaming good thoughts that they would win. Luckily, we didn't have to wait long. I hope I get to go to one of their games next season.

Happy Birthday Great-Grandma Azile!!

I know it was Halloween yesterday but it was also my Great-Grandma's 80th birthday (doesn't she look great?!). We had a great time at dinner on Saturday to celebrate this amazing lady. I'm so lucky to be related to her!
I was Mommy & Daddy's "love"bug yesterday (although they say I am one everyday!). Daddy said I was so cute that he looks forward to future Halloweens and all the fun things I can be. Mommy and I went to a playgroup with lots of other babies & toddlers- my favorite friend there was another ladybug. Then, I got to hand out candy to the older kids at night. Luckily, it was nice enough to sit on the porch and enjoy the sights.
