Pictures of my little brother/sister

Thanks to Mommy's friend, Jenna, we got to see my little brother/sister earlier than normal. We will be finding out which one it will be on April 13th, so I hope you are looking forward to that announcement (I know I am!!)

Here's a great view of the entire body (Mommy was 12 1/2 weeks pregnant)
Here's my favorite one of the face- I took it to school to show my friends
Cute little feet :)
He/She was waving at me & Mommy!
And finally some strong looking legs to keep up with me! I can't wait to become a big sister!

Hiking with Memphis

On a beautiful spring-like day, we headed out to Sesquicentennial State Park outside of Columbia. Uncle Andre, Aunt Heidi & Cousin Memphis were along for the fun.
It is nice to hold hands with someone just your size.
Cousin Memphis had a nice ride for most of the hike
Mommy, Daddy & I were outfitted and ready to go!
I love my Daddy!
Hmmm, which way do we go? I think we picked the wrong path...
But, when you have a nice ride, it's a good way to go! Plus, George was along for the trip.
Thanks to Uncle Andre we did some geocaching and I got a cool truck.
Here's a buried treasure!
Cousin Memphis got sleepy and took a nice nap next to her Daddy.
Thanks to Aunt Heidi for also holding me most of the hike and telling me stories.
Super Uncle Andre had both of us girls!
Luckily, we found the boathouse at the end of our 4-mile hike (we'd only planned for 1- 1 1/2 miles!) and there was a playground there too! I can't wait for Spring to be here so we can take many more hikes!

Little Artist

Mommy calls me a little artist, but I say that I am a big girl. My work will prove it:

Just getting started here by testing out all the colors
I take painting very seriously
Concentration is key
Mommy is amazed at how focused I am while she's taking the pictures
Check out my brush stroke
And the finished product! What do you think?

I love my friends

My furry ones and my real ones! I enjoy building houses for George and other animals out of my blocks. They always let me come and play with them.
I learned this song at school to sing my friends' names, plus it helps me learn my letters:

Happy, happy days...

Birthdays, Valentine's, Snow & Wedding! What a busy new year it has been!

We celebrated my friend, Reid's 3rd birthday, at a cool Jump-E place. (Reid was in my preschool class last year, but I still pray for him every night!)We played some great games (I'm sitting next to Bela, her sister Emma, and that's the birthday boy, Reid next to Emma)
They had so many things to climb onto and climb out of!
This game was especially exciting:

I'm getting really good at singing happy birthday now too!

We celebrated Valentine's day at school with pajama day. My favorite pj's are Curious George (from MaGa and Grandpa Gette for Christmas!) and they even have hearts on them, so very appropriate for Valentine's day. We were playing a Mr. Potato head game with my teacher, Ms. Amy.
I brought my flower blanket with me since I sleep with her every night!
We got a beautiful snow fall for our Valentine's weekend- about 4-6 inches total!
Daddy and I were doing our best not to slip on the ice
We used as much snow as we could get to build a mommy and a baby snowman- luckily, our neighbor, Matias, helped with the big piece for the mommy one!
Mommy was so nice to lay down in the cold, wet snow and make me a snow angel
Isn't it beautiful?!
Then, we went to the beautiful wedding of Daddy's cousin, Cathy & her new husband, Joshua. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Our big news

Well, it's official- we're expecting! We heard the heartbeat at our first appointment and the baby is 11 weeks along, with a due date of September 3. I am SO EXCITED to become a big sister, although I have only said I want a little sister, so if it's a brother, I may be a little disappointed. We will definitely find out which one it will be (in April sometime). Here's the video from when Mommy & Daddy told me:

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I really love my Daddy, especially on Mondays when I get to spend the entire day with him! He is always willing to take me for a walk on his back (even though we were just going to throw the Christmas tree in the woods in this picture)
He lets me wear his shoes, since I want to be just like him!
And he lets us come visit him at his office all the time!
Happy birthday to the most amazing Daddy- I love you very much!

Winter Fun

Truthfully, Mommy and I can't wait for winter to be OVER! We are not happy staying inside most of the days, plus it's a pain to get out and about when it's so cold and miserable. If we had some snow to play in, then we might be happier :)

Mommy & Daddy got to go to the Carolina Panthers football game vs. the New Orleans Saints (and the Panthers won!) but they were FREEZING out there. Thanks for letting me play over at Claire's house instead!

The one day it got a little warmer, I ventured out in my swim boat. I am definitely ready to use it again!
I even brought out the sidewalk chalk with me!
Mommy liked this one to show how long my hair has gotten!
Being inside on a wintry weather day makes a little girl silly:
