Today...

I was baptized! Thank you to all my wonderful family who made it to my special day. Grandpa Gette for pouring the water on my head (and even a little in my eyes), Grandma Gette for holding me and calming me down during mass, Aunt Leanna for being a stand-in Godmother for Erin Tieman & Uncle John Harper (and Amelia) for being an awesome Godfather. I can't forget to thanks Aunt Jen, Uncle Robert & Cousin Mikayla who made a quick trip from Baltimore, Granddaddy Pope & Grandma Teresa who came over the mountains (and bring lots of love), and Mimsi, Great-Grandmother Azile & Auntie L who love to smother me with kisses (and I enjoy every minute of it). A special thanks to Uncle Andre, who made the trip with kidney stones, and Aunt Heidi who takes good care of him (and me). A big shout-out to Cousin Robert & Amy (plus Megan, Bobby & Ashley) who threw me a great BBQ on Saturday night. Thanks also to the locals who celebrated my special day with me- Lee, Marianne, Ben & Jane Hark, Sarah, Sean, Christopher & Reagan Blackburn, Josh Villapando & Bernie Hogan. I am blessed to have such awesome family and friends. I love you!

Is something funny?

I don't understand why Mommy likes to put my clothes on my head and laugh. I don't think it's very funny, but if I can make her laugh, it's all fun.

I think most of the sweet potatoes are on my bib & face. When Mommy wasn't looking, I would spit it out of my mouth. I know it may look like teeth in that picture, but I was blowing bubbles with my food.

A Father's Love

Awww, Daddy! I love it when you give me kisses & hold my hand. I'm so lucky to have you as a Daddy. You make me smile when you come home from work, the first time I see you in the morning & when you give me my bottle. Thanks for taking such good care of me!

While Mommy was in the shower....

I turned over!! Mommy left me on my back & when she came out, this is where I was. And then the next day, Mommy & Daddy left me on the bed on my stomach while they were in the kitchen & they came back to find me on my back! I've been working so hard to make sure they don't see my secret way of doing it. Hehe..

CRAZY hair day

Ever have one of those mornings where your hair just wants to do it's own thing?? Thank goodness that I have a GREAT Daddy who likes to take pictures of my messy hair & a great Mommy who brushes it down for me. Boy, do I love them!

I love watching Mommy's Aggie football team on TV, but what happened last night? Mommy said the best play was made by the back-up quarterback in the last 20 seconds, but I was asleep & missed it. I hope they do better next time. At least it's Friday- I love the weekend!

Am I too big for this?

I'm not sure I am sitting in this chair correctly, but it sure is comfortable. I sure am glad Mommy buckled me in or I may have gone for a tumble. Sitting this way also helped me reach for the newspaper on the table- who says I can't read it yet? It sure does taste good in my mouth!

First outdoor concert

Rock Hill has a Thursday night Main Street Live during the summer months & we finally went to the last one of the summer. I really wanted to drink some of Mommy's orange Fanta. We went with our new friends, Emily, Matt and their 2 kids, Isaac & Ayla (that's Emily walking by in the background). We had a great time eating some burgers & I can't wait until next summer when I can play in the children's play area with Isaac & Ayla!

I'm 5 months old!!

I can't believe it- 5 months have passed since I entered this world! Mommy, Daddy & I tried to do a fun photo shoot for my special day, but I was starting to get sleepy. And Mommy made me get dressed up for 10-15 minutes and then she took my clothes off again. It's such hard work being so cute sometimes.

This is my giraffe, Towers. Mommy & Daddy caught me kissing him in my room. I haven't seen him in a couple of days now. I wonder what happened to him?

Big Pool Fun!

You saw me in my little tub and now look at me in the big pool! At first, I was not happy in the water, so Mommy took me out, I went pee & then I felt better. The sun bothered my eyes, so I wore this cool hat. Mommy did the motorboat around the pool with me and I started to like it. Maybe next time I'll go underwater! Can't wait to get Daddy in there with us too!

Splish, Splash....

I was taking a bath! Now that I can sit up a little better, I can be in my bath tub with out the sling/pillow. I LOVE to kick my feet in the water, chew on my washcloth, & watch the water drip on me. I try to catch it, but somehow it keeps slipping through my fingers.
