Happy Fall!

Mommy, Daddy & I have been busy and can't believe that September is almost over! Thanks to the beautiful weather we have been having because it allows me time to wear some cute dresses. I also enjoyed a Winthrop Men's Soccer game, even though they lost in OT.


My favorite toys recently have been anything I can take outside- balls, my John Deere ball popper (yes, I picked it out myself at Babies R Us and wouldn't take no for an answer- I had to have the green and yellow one!), and of course, bubbles!

Building blocks

I'm starting to be more interested in stacking blocks now, instead of only knocking over what Mommy stacked or throwing them across the room (nice sound on the hardwood floors). The highest I got was 7 blocks before they took a tumble, but I'm going to keep working on it.

The reason for all the drool on my shirt is that #8 tooth came in right after #7 (well, that would be the right order, silly Mommy) and the bottom molars are getting ready to make their appearance also. Sometimes it makes me cranky, but overall I'm a busy, happy girl!

Two F words I like....

FRIENDS and FASHION! (were you worried??)

Last week, I met a new friend, Katelyn, and we played in the park together. She was so nice to share her snacks with me and we couldn't get enough of the slide.

Whee!

I think Mommy needs to get me my own purse so that I don't have to carry hers around anymore, but I love it!

Shouldn't every girl have a little black dress?

Is this a new hat?

No, it's Mommy being silly and putting a bib on my head! I try to do it myself but I'm not sure if I would leave it there on purpose.

Don't forget to brush, Daddy!

I'm 17 months today!

Things I can now do by myself ("self") since I'm 17 months old:

Help Daddy take out the recycling

Blow my own bubbles

Climb into my chair..

..and turn around

Give the butterfly on my shirt a kiss

And last and most certainly my Mommy & Daddy's favorite- go to sleep on my own and cuddle with my favorite buddy, Towers. (I now tell Daddy- "Rock" or "Crib" depending on my mood, plus "Pasha" for pacifier) What a big girl!

What did I do?

Last week, Mommy hadn't heard me in awhile and found me with the door closed in the bathroom. This is what she said I did:

That's right- I'm finally getting tooth #7 and it's a big one. It's my first molar! Once I let my mommy in my mouth, maybe you'll get a picture of it.
