Budding Photographer

Hello, my name is Eleanor Rose Pope and I would be happy to take some pictures for you (my Mommy had to take this one but the rest are mine!)
I was trying to capture the spider web on our stairs but the lighting wasn't quite right
Here's the sprinkler I am about to play in
I love my sand & water tools
Check out my favorite one- Lightning McQueen
Don't forget the bug spray when playing in the grass
Tried to get the spider web again from a different angle- still didn't work
Perfectly centered and all smiles from Mommy & Daddy (they are proud of their budding photographer)
Then, I let Mommy take over with the camera so I could have some play time
Sometimes I like to avoid the water rather than run into it!

1st day of my new school

Rise and shine! It's the first day at Macfeat for me! I am so excited!
Look at the great shaped pancakes that my Mommy made for me
All dressed and ready to go
Check me out, Mommy!
I still need you to hold my hand, Mommy
The best thing about my school is that it is in the same building as my Daddy's office
Mommy was more sad than I was so I had to comfort her with a nice hug
One of our last family pictures before we welcome baby brother!
Here's my wonderful teacher, Mrs. Chamberlain
Ok, Daddy, I am ready to go check out my new classroom- I love you too!

Trip to a fire station

One of my favorite sounds is a fire engine siren. I recognize it from miles away. So, going to visit a fire station is so much fun for me! I am not afraid to be in the middle with all the boys.
Watch out- here comes a future firefighter!
The hose was so LONG!
Riley and I are buddies who are both about to have little brothers!
It was neat to watch them get all dressed up in uniform so I know what they look like when they go into a fire. Thank you for being so brave!

38 weeks...

Baby brother's due date is getting closer and closer... and we're not sharing the name until he arrives. I am really good at keeping this a secret! Doesn't Mommy look great?!
I love to give him kisses and talk to him. It will be great to meet him soon!

Girl with a sweet tooth

It's really no surprise that I have a sweet tooth- so do my Mommy and Daddy! I love every type of sweet- ice cream cones are a favorite during the hot summer days!
Some of it does not make it into my mouth
From cousin Memphis' birthday party, I got a Shrek fruit roll-up. Boy are they sticky!
Again, a lot ended up on my face
I also prefer chocolate milk and here I am keeping it cool with a koozie! Cheers!

Daddy's Staycation, cont..

For Day 2 of fun, we met some of Daddy's old friends from college, Dan & Jen, with their son, James. I brought along Thomas and James the trains to share with him.
I was ready for the hot day with the animals!
This baby elephant provided a nice resting seat and a place to have a cold drink.
James and I got to ride the train alone- we felt like such big 3-year-olds!
The new kangaroos are so close you can almost touch them!
I love the chickens and try to talk with them:

Daddy's staycation- Discovery Place

Since we are expecting baby brother in about a month, we stayed close to home for our vacation. Daddy took a week off and we had some fun!! First stop, Discovery Place in Charlotte and of course, we took the train up there:
Check out what I made with recycled materials and a hot glue gun (with help from Mommy & Daddy, of course)
Mommy and I are trying to figure out this one- you turn the wheel and try to replace the pieces that continually fall off
Daddy and I loved this one where newspaper flew into the air and showered us!
Mommy made me a sea turtle out of foil!
Daddy helped me make this purse, also from recycled materials
Then, we built a fort
and hung out inside of it
They also had a 3D Theatre with a movie abut turtles and an oil spill- I actually wore my glasses the entire time!
I wish Mommy and me could have taken these home with us- don't we look good!?
One of my favorite areas is the aquarium- Daddy was teaching me all about the fishes inside
You could even touch a real starfish!
The best place was the hands-on kid area with this awesome water table
Daddy and I were "discussing" the best way to get the boat through the maze
I also built some trucks and trains to haul stuff (I could have stayed here all day)
But there was a cool, BIG fan to pretend to fly with my cape!
And to finish it off, music to be made on pots, pans & buckets! What a fun place! I can't wait to go back!
