Trip to a fire station
One of my favorite sounds is a fire engine siren. I recognize it from miles away. So, going to visit a fire station is so much fun for me! I am not afraid to be in the middle with all the boys.
It was neat to watch them get all dressed up in uniform so I know what they look like when they go into a fire. Thank you for being so brave!

Daddy's Staycation, cont..
For Day 2 of fun, we met some of Daddy's old friends from college, Dan & Jen, with their son, James. I brought along Thomas and James the trains to share with him.
I was ready for the hot day with the animals!
This baby elephant provided a nice resting seat and a place to have a cold drink.
James and I got to ride the train alone- we felt like such big 3-year-olds!
The new kangaroos are so close you can almost touch them!
I love the chickens and try to talk with them:

Daddy's staycation- Discovery Place
Since we are expecting baby brother in about a month, we stayed close to home for our vacation. Daddy took a week off and we had some fun!! First stop, Discovery Place in Charlotte and of course, we took the train up there:
Check out what I made with recycled materials and a hot glue gun (with help from Mommy & Daddy, of course)
Mommy and I are trying to figure out this one- you turn the wheel and try to replace the pieces that continually fall off
They also had a 3D Theatre with a movie abut turtles and an oil spill- I actually wore my glasses the entire time!
And to finish it off, music to be made on pots, pans & buckets! What a fun place! I can't wait to go back!

Aunt Leanna's Visit
It's not fun being so far away from family, but thank goodness for airplanes, Aunt Leanna came out to visit us! She also went up to Baltimore after and visited cousins Mikayla and Landon. I love giving her BIG hugs!
She helped us get ready around the house for baby brother, which included painting my new bedroom! Check out the pink color I chose:
One of the best things about living in South Carolina are the yummy peaches, so we took Aunt Leanna to pick some
Mommy and baby brother joined in for a group shot of the girls- wasn't Daddy lucky to spend the week with us!?
