This past Sunday, we went to Portrait Innovations for some family pictures. We also wanted to get some for my 2nd birthday. It was hard at first, but the photographer made me laugh with a kitty and got some good smiles.
It was nice to see my cousin Mikayla and take pictures in our matching dresses from Aunt Leanna.
Here's our first professional family picture- I think we're a good-looking family!
Of course, we love our Grandpa and Grandma (Ma-Ga) Gette!
The entire family picture, except we were missing Uncle Robert and Uncle Bobby (don't worry guys, we're going to figure out how to photoshop you two into one of the shots!)
Last week was full of excitement! Here are the highlights:
Going for a wagon ride with my friend, Gavin
Meeting Buzz from the Library
Going to the Roger Day concert!! I got star struck when I met him & couldn't talk.
Wearing cool Tiger hats with my friends, Hollis & Rachael
I had my neighbor Campbell over for an afternoon. We shared our food and read books together. And best of all, we went to Myrtle Beach to see Uncle Andre, Aunt Heidi & Cousin Memphis(and also for Mommy to run a 5k). Isn't she adorable?! I love my cousin Memphis! I also loved seeing Great-Grandma Azile, Mimsi, Pops, Auntie L and cousin Cody- he shared his bouncy chair with me!
First off, Happy Birthday to my Uncle Andre!! We are so excited that we get to see you this weekend for your special day! On a side note, please talk to my mommy about being so slow in posting on my blog. I am a busy girl and I want to share it with the world!
Here's a few videos to enjoy this Friday:
First, 2 videos that show my love for my Grand Daddy Pope:
Second, some fun with my hair:
Lastly, when the weather was warm last week, I enjoyed some outside play time and here's what I did with it:
And of course, my Mommy's birthday! We went to a festival in downtown Rock Hill with some friends. I really loved the music, the clown and the rainbow with the pot of gold, but was afraid of the leprechaun. This is my friend, Kaitlyn- she was brave enough to get her face painted and it's beautiful!
I know Melissa wishes she could dance like me!
May you find a pot of gold at the end of your rainbow! Until next St. Patty's day, Slainte!
I'm sorry for being so behind in my updates and I've been busy! It was my Grand Daddy's birthday and then my Mommy's birthday so I've had a lot going on- here's a rundown of what we've been doing:
Since I wrote, Grand Daddy & Grandma Teresa have been here twice! I got to wear some "pigtails" from Grandma Teresa.
Have you seen my cool trick? Tongue to the nose!
We went to a museum and made some puppets (mine was a zebra) which had a show.
These are my good friends, Rachel & Hollis. We were having fun dressing up!
.. all in one week! Last Sunday/Monday brought 2-3 inches to us, which is so much fun to play with - Mommy had to work so Daddy built me a snowman. Then, I played in the neighbor's yard.
And most of the outside playtime consisted of going for a drive in my car up and down our street!
By Saturday, it was 70s and gorgeous! Mommy and her friend, Jeannie, had committed to walking a 5k, and it was at the best place ever- the ZOO!! Early that morning, Mommy, Jeannie, Ethan and I drove down to Columbia and stayed until lunch seeing all the animals of the zoo! This is my friend, Dottie, who was the mascot for the race.
My most favorite thing was the train ride!I wanted to go again when it was over!
This one is a couple of weeks ago already (Mommy is slow these days!). Check out my awesome drinking from a bowl skills and calling my Mommy by first name (and if you have problems with my Merry Christmas bib, just come talk to me...):
