Day at the Beach

The day after Memphis' party, we headed to the beach to have fun in the sand! Grand Daddy was happy to help us scoop up some holes.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Memphis!

My cousin Memphis is 2 and she is so much fun to play with now! I was so happy to be able to go to her birthday party and celebrate her special day. She had a Shrek theme with balloons:

at a playground with big ladders to climb (Mommy was very impressed with the fact that I went by myself),

fun, twisty slides to go down,

and big girl swings- thanks Grand Daddy for the push!

My favorite time is always cake time, so I make sure I am close by to get a piece.

Memphis was so nice to share her Shrek characters with me to help lick the frosting off

It is hard to get us both to smile and look at the same time

I think Memphis is thinking about opening her presents...

I volunteer to be a special helper for presents time!

See, I make sure she gets all her gifts to open & I even help with the wrapping paper!

Birthday Party Fun

This is a busy month of birthdays for my friends! First, we celebrated Katie's 3rd birthday with a Curious George party. Georgie came along, of course.

I love birthday party food, mainly the cake!

Next, we attended Jasmine's 2nd birthday party (her mommy, Shannon, cuts all our hair)

Sprayground?

To combat this summer heat, Mommy took me to a local sprayground. I, however, was not crazy about getting wet that day. Instead, I enjoyed my Curious George fruit snacks,

Went for a swing next to my friend Riley,

and pretended to play ball with my friend Kaitlyn.

Mommy (due Sept 3rd), Amy (due Aug 9th) and Rachael (due Sept 6th) tried to stay cool and compared their bellies

Here are some other things that I prefer to do this summer- Ride on the uptown train

Play with Daddy at the Imaginon library in Charlotte

Goof off with one of my favorite things- a Gingerbread Man

Flash my smile for the camera

Balance on one foot while doing the tree pose

Say cheese with my Mommy

Eat colored ice-cream cones

And the yummy ice cream inside

Lastly, I am learning to put on make-up with Mommy

and I practice on Georgie! Don't worry, it's pretend make-up for me for at least another 10+ years!

Future Singer/ Songwriter?

I think I see a bright future ahead for singing, although I really want to be these things when I grow up:
1. Hospital Doctor
2. Fireman
3. Ballerina
4. House Seller
5. Race car driver

Mommy & baby brother

Mommy & Daddy haven't been as good as taking pictures of Mommy's belly like they did when I was in there, but here's one from the beginning of June, when Mommy was about 6 1/2 months along.

I had to give baby brother a hug too! I am so excited to become a big sister!

Happy 4th of July!!

I love the 4th of July, although I don't always like the BOOM of the fireworks unless I can see them. Our neighbors enjoy shooting them off and sometimes they scare me, but I did enjoy seeing them in downtown Rock Hill!

Mommy & I celebrated early with a playdate with our mommies group- I sure do love a cupcake!

A mexican restaurant is a good place to celebrate the 4th (technically the 3rd) with some red salsa & white chips
